Brooklyn Playroom

Located in the basement, this space was intentionally designed to feel anything but basement-like. Inspired by the idea of a “castle in the sky,” we aimed to create the sensation of stepping into a morning sky brushed with soft orange, blue, and pink tones.

A dedicated baby area with soft play elements and a whimsical play castle reinforces the theme. Because modern playrooms often need to serve a wide range of ages, we took advantage of the generous ceiling height in this former storage room and introduced a tree‑net playscape. This climbing feature lets kids feel as though they’re ascending into the clouds. A netted ball pit in cotton‑candy pink adds another layer of sensory play–evoking either fluffy clouds or imaginative cotton candy–bringing delight to children of all ages.
